word about . . . "Handling Adsorbents"
- Packaging
should only be opened when product is being used and must always be
resealed.
- Store
in unheated hopper with enough capacity for a few hours work.
- Do
not fill spacer bar with adsorbent in close proximity to washers.
- A
filled spacer should be quickly sealed into a unit to avoid pre-loading
of the desiccant.
- Throw
away spilt desiccant if unsure if it is active or not.
- Beware
the danger of slipping on spilt desiccant and avoid all contact with
other liquids as it will heat up substantially.
- Check
activity of desiccant twice daily and each time a new box is opened
with a Delta T Test Kit.
